Refreshing lemonades
Cherry lemonade
We need:
- 3 cups pitted cherries
- 2 limes
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar or honey
- ice
- lime slices and cherries for garnish
Instructions:
- Thoroughly wash the limes,
- cut them into wedges and put them into a blender together with the cherries and sugar.
- Blend until pulpy, add 2 cups of water and briefly blend once more.
- Strain the pulp through a fine sieve into a large pitcher, add the remaining water, ice and serve.
Mint lemonade no. 1
We need:
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 40 mint leaves
- 20 ice cubes
Instructions:
- Put the water into a pot,
- add the sugar and dissolve it over low heat while stirring – making a syrup.
- Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Add the lemon juice, mint, ice cubes and blend everything in a blender until pulpy.
- Layer the pulp into glasses and garnish with mint.
Mint lemonade no. 2
We need:
- 2 lemons
- a bunch of fresh mint
- 4-5 tablespoons cane sugar
- ice for serving
- 1 liter of water
Instructions:
- Grate the zest from the lemons using a grater and place it into a mortar.
- Squeeze the lemons for their juice, which, along with the washed mint and cane sugar, we also add to the mortar.
- Pound the mint mixture in the mortar into a very fine paste.
- Pour it into a jug, add a liter of water and a few ice cubes.
Homemade mint lemonade is a great refreshment on hot days.
Extra fresh lemonade from cucumber and grapefruit
We need:
- 1 grapefruit
- ½ cucumber
- ½ piece of ginger root
- 1 lemon
- 2 liters of water
- 10 mint leaves
- a little honey – to taste
Instructions:
- Peel the grapefruit and slice it into rounds, also slice the cucumber into rounds.
- Put them into a pitcher, pour in the water, add the lemon juice and mint leaves.
- Finally add the peeled ginger cut into pieces.
- Stir well and let stand for a while until the flavors meld. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach and throughout the day, ideally after every meal.
Dandelion lemonade for weight loss, liver cleansing and relieving headaches
We need:
- 1 cup of dandelions
- 50 g peppermint
- juice of 3 lemons
- 2 liters of water or mineral water
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Instructions:
- Let the dandelion heads dry in the sun,
- then put them into a pitcher, add the mint leaves and pour in the water.
- Add the lemon juice, honey and refrigerate for at least two hours.
- Then strain and drink 3x a day.
Grapefruit lemonade – a weight-loss bomb
We need:
- 100 ml grapefruit juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 300 ml chilled green tea
- ice cubes
- fresh mint
- lemon
Instructions:
- Mix the grapefruit juice, green tea and honey in a pitcher and place in the refrigerator.
- Serve with ice cubes, fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.
Cucumber lemonade for beauty and health
We need:
- 1 cucumber
- 2 liters of water
- honey
- 1 lime
- fresh mint
Instructions:
- Slice the cucumber thinly and place it into the prepared pitcher.
- Add honey and lime juice.
- Pour in cold water (or chilled mineral water).
- Serve with mint, lime cut into wedges and ice cubes.
