Cancer is one of the most widespread fatal diseases of our time. Its insidiousness lies primarily in the fact that the symptomatology in the early stages of the disease is almost imperceptible and diagnosis very difficult, until it develops to such a stage that it begins to be dangerous. Nowadays we recognize several types of cancer, which are linked mainly to specific organs of the human body; the methodologies of their treatment differ depending on the degree and manner in which the organism is affected. There are several warning signals that alert you that something is wrong with your body and that are associated with the development of cancerous growth. What should you watch out for?

Cancer and its symptoms

A symptom of cancer in any part of the body is usually a certain functional change. If it is a tumor disease of soft tissues, foreign bodies usually appear that can be identified by touch. In addition to these, there also appear related primary and secondary problems resulting from the effect of tumor structures on the body’s metabolism, blood circulation, etc. As a result, cancer then manifests as a long-term deterioration of health to such an extent that it suggests a problem that is not easily diagnosable. However, there are two very important symptoms that doctors often overlook, or treat separately rather than comprehensively in connection with a deeper analysis of the overall bodily constitution. These are primarily inflammatory conditions, which are not usually associated with cancerous growth, but may be their manifestation especially if they occur frequently and are localized in the same places.

Inflammation as a symptom of cancer

Chronic and acute inflammation can be not only a symptom but also a cause of cancer. Usually proliferation starts precisely in cases of weakened immunity of the body, which inflammation causes. Chronic inflammations can affect mainly the heart’s function, but they can also prepare the ground for other health problems. In addition, acute inflammations, especially if they last more than a week, even if caused by a visible cause (e.g., a cut), should be closely observed. A slow healing rate or a recurring inflammatory condition should not be taken lightly.
