Who doesn’t know ground meat. It can be prepared in several different ways; here it is made as meatloaf or small meat patties. Many of us use ground meat when making steak tartare. It can be easily baked or cooked. In half an hour you can create a tasty dish to enjoy at a weekend lunch.
You will prefer ground meat to pork chops
For this recipe you will need:
- 800 g ground pork
- 300 g ground chicken
- 1 onion
- 200 ml milk
- 70 g bread
- Salt, black pepper
- 200 ml sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 150 g hard cheese
- Oil and your favorite spices
Mix the ground meats, create the filling from cheese and cream
Mix both types of ground meat and add the chopped onion to it. Then pour in 100 ml of milk, stir and mix thoroughly with the ground meat. Pour the remaining milk into the meat, add salt and pepper to taste.
Form balls the size of an apple, make holes in them and place them in a frying pan that you have previously greased with oil. Grate the cheese, mix it with the sour cream, eggs and chopped dill.
Put the filling into the prepared hollows and place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake for about 25 – 30 minutes, then serve. With these ground meat loaves you can make mashed potatoes, crushed potatoes or eat them cold for dinner with bread and mustard.
You can create lots of good dishes from ground meat. Instead of ordinary meat patties you can, for example, make a “pštrosí vejce” (ostrich egg) – it’s ground meat in which a whole boiled egg is wrapped. The procedure is simple; essentially you prepare the ground meat as if you wanted to make patties. Boil the eggs beforehand and let them cool, peel them and wrap them in the meat so that nothing protrudes.
Place in a baking dish, you can brush them with egg and bake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. You can serve with mustard and potatoes.
