It can be said without exaggeration that garlic is one of the healthiest foods in the world. It contains many beneficial substances, such as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, which treat a number of different illnesses. That is also why you should consume garlic preferably every day. If that is not possible, then at least several times a week.

As we have already stated, garlic can successfully cure a number of different conditions. The most significant include:

How to properly consume garlic
Garlic contains several active compounds, the most significant and strongest of which is allicin. However, allicin must first be activated. You do this by crushing the garlic first and then leaving it in the air for a few minutes, during which the enzymes activate the allicin.
Garlic is also best consumed raw, because cooking destroys part of the allicin. The problem with eating it raw is that garlic in this state is rather irritating to the mucous membranes of the mouth and stomach. It is therefore recommended to mix it with oil, parsley and other foods, which will partially mask its smell and reduce its harshness. Also do not eat more than 1 to 2 raw cloves of garlic at once, otherwise it can cause irritation and stomach pain.
Garlic under the pillow for better sleep and luck
Putting garlic under your pillow is advisable because it very well affects the quality of sleep. Besides improving sleep, however, there is another compelling reason, albeit somewhat esoteric, for which there is no direct scientific evidence. Many people believe that garlic under the pillow can bring them luck, wealth and at the same time eliminate negative energies and evil spirits from their surroundings.
A variation of placing a clove of garlic under the pillow is to carry it with you during the day in your jacket or trouser pocket. If you also believe in such “supernatural” things, then in addition to consuming garlic to gain stronger health and improve sleep you can also use it to eliminate negative energies.
