The Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic issued a warning regarding four products that could have reached Slovakia. Among them is also a baby cream that contains a dangerous substance.
The Public Health Office published a warning on its website within the European alert system, into which Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic reported dangerous products. These concern four cosmetic products that could have reached Slovakia, one of which is a baby cream.
This concerns the cream Uriage EAU THERMALE bebe 1 er Chang, 100 ml with an expiration in January 2021 with batch number 801202, which is intended for use on a baby’s diaper area skin. Analysis showed an exceeded concentration of the substance o-Cymen-5-ol (0.24 +/- 0.04%).
Another dangerous reported product is the Polish foam Frucht 1L with batch number 4010937100045 expiring in November 2020, in which the bacterium Pseudomonas putida, was found, which can cause several infections. The last ones are tattoo inks shade Green beret 30 ml production batch WFGB161801 and Sailor Jerry Red with batch number LOT WFSJR1720011, batch: B20205 and expiring in November 2020. In both, the presence of Anisidine above the permitted limits was confirmed.
