What will you need?
To ensure fly-free rooms you can make water bags. What will you need to prepare them?
Prepare the following:
- thick-walled plastic bags for water,
- string,
- coins (optional).
How to prepare and use water bags against flies?
Prepare bags that can withstand the pressure of the water. Fill them halfway with water, add coins to the bottom and finally tie them securely with the string. Place the bags with water where flies are most common — it can be by the kitchen counter or by the window.
You’ll be surprised, but the flies will literally be repelled by these bags and won’t fly into the room at all.
Scientists may shake their heads at this method and have no explanation for it, but it works. It seems that flies are repelled by the reflection of sunlight or light, which reminds them of spiders. It’s also possible that the reflections from the water bags distract them and disrupt the flies’ poor vision, which is why they don’t fly into the room.
