Stinging insects do not like rhubarb – my grandmother taught me that, and that’s why I constantly grow rhubarb. Rhubarb leaves are excellent for repelling. The only thing you have to do is pour water over about 14 larger leaves (it’s good to tear the leaves) and let it steep (in two liters of water). Then insert a syringe and use it as a repellent. I have a bottle on hand and on the terrace. Remember that rhubarb can be used in recipes – but only until the end of June (while they are young).
