This simple tip saved my struggling peace lily, which I had almost given up on. If you too have a similarly dying little plant, try this.
Rescue for dying plants
If your green ornaments are withering before your eyes, or you haven’t cared for them for a while and they are now in a shabby state, just pour this healing balm into the pot.
Procedure:
In 1 liter of water dilute 15-20 ml of hydrogen peroxide (3%), which is commonly sold in pharmacies.
That’s all – the healing miracle for your plants is ready.
Before use it’s good to loosen the soil a bit around the plant; that will enrich the roots with the oxygen they need and the mixture will start working faster.
Then just care for the plant as usual and don’t forget to remove dry and damaged leaves. It worked quickly for me; literally within a few days the peace lily was in better condition than when we bought it.
Of course I pinched off the dry parts since they couldn’t be saved. Soon, however, new stems and leaves began to appear.
