And here we go again. As if we should always be afraid of what we buy. Lidl is facing another scandal, yet it still enjoys great popularity. Even after this?
A customer bought ordinary groceries at this chain, the kind most of us buy.
Well, what she found at home will make you nauseous!
An unpleasant incident happened to Lorraine Wall, a mother of six. One day she was doing a completely ordinary shop at Lidl, including several bananas. At home, however, their taste didn’t seem quite normal to her.
„When I bit into them I felt like the bananas were crunching. I thought they were just not ripe enough, but when I looked inside I saw a brown tangle that looked like laid spider eggs,„ describes her disgusting experience; Lorraine felt very unwell after eating a piece of the banana.
It turned her stomach inside out, writes DailyMail. They wanted to take the mother of six to the hospital immediately. Because of the number of her children, however, she refused.
She couldn’t leave them home alone.
The doctor who came to her home told her that stomach acid would easily kill most of the eggs. Those words did little to reassure Lorraine.
She still imagines spiders hatching inside them, but she is now able to take it with a sense of perspective.
