The best pest control remedy – works on entire ant nests

The most effective way to eliminate ants at home and in the garden is with ordinary baking powder. Just mix it with powdered sugar and you’re set. The ants will carry this bait into their queen’s nest and thus you won’t get rid of just individual ants at home and in the garden, but of the whole ant colony.

Method no. 1

Procedure:

Mix 3 packets of baking powder with powdered sugar and sprinkle at the places where the ants are.

Method no. 2

Pour baking powder directly onto the ant nest and the problem will be gone in a few hours.

Don’t forget that baking powder “sticks” to the ants’ legs. If you add, besides sugar, for example basil, cinnamon or marjoram, you’ll get rid of them permanently.

Getting rid of slugs

Baking powder also works great against slugs. It can be used in two ways. The first is to sprinkle it directly onto the slugs’ bodies, or to sprinkle it around the plants you want to protect. However, you’ll need to reckon with a larger amount of powder. It’s ideal to buy it on sale or you can even use expired baking powder for this purpose.
