Sophie Scott became pregnant at the age of 16. She decided to keep the child. The father was Steven Roberts, who was already 24. For both it was their first child, which they were very much looking forward to despite the mother’s young age. Imagine their excitement when they found out Sophie was expecting a baby girl! In addition, all examinations indicated that she would most likely be healthy. And so nothing stood in the way of the joy of the two expectant parents.
Strange ultrasound
Their excitement turned to shock when they saw the ultrasound images from one examination. At first they thought the doctor might have forgotten to tell them they were expecting twins. On the ultrasound, next to their daughter, they saw a strange figure:
- It was hovering above the baby’s figure.
- Its face resembled the most famous depiction of an alien.
If you picture a small innocent baby and next to it a creepy figure of something with a face that looks like an alien, it will frighten you a bit.
Second figure on the ultrasound
Shocked, Sophie describes her ultrasound image as follows: „We saw that extra eyes were appearing above our child’s figure. Also, the head belonging to those eyes resembled an alien – it was like something out of a movie. I was afraid that the alien would attack and eat my child.“ However, with her own brand of humor she adds: „I used to date a guy who believed in aliens and demons, so we fear he must have cast a curse on me.“
Another ultrasound – another alien?
Although the young couple laughed about it, they nonetheless felt a certain unease inside. No one could tell them what they had actually seen on the image. Four weeks later an ultrasound examination was carried out again. By that time Sophie was in her 16th week of pregnancy. The alien appeared on the image again. In addition, they learned that the baby was due in October. And Sophie joked again: „Hopefully she won’t be born on Halloween, that would be a bit too scary.“
