Some tricks can be really ingenious and have been used by many generations. Still, some are forgotten over time and become tips of forgotten little improvements.
Mix a teaspoon and a little ground cinnamon – immediate help for weakness, anxiety and a depressive mood
We all experience these states from time to time. The combination of honey and cinnamon can calm and relax the mind, reduce stress and tension. Older people also know it as a means to improve memory and concentration (it works similarly to ginkgo by improving the body’s blood circulation).
Sugar in shampoo
The amazing results of this strange and truly old trick appear very quickly – already after about three weeks. Your hair will be more voluminous, shinier, softer and airier.
Mix in a bowl a bit of shampoo the size of a hazelnut with a tablespoon of ordinary granulated sugar. Wet your hair and apply the prepared mixture to it. Massage the scalp thoroughly. The sugar crystals will dissolve soon. Don’t worry, the sugar does not leave any residue, your hair will not stick together. Do not perform the procedure very often so as not to unnecessarily disturb the pH of the scalp. It is recommended to apply it especially during the winter months and then every fifth washing of the hair.
Roses will last twice as long if you put half an aspirin in the water.
Aspirin prevents the water from deteriorating and helps protect chrysanthemums, carnations, gladioli and roses. As for daffodils, it is better to add a pinch of salt to the water.
Also removes hardened skin and corns on the feet
Aspirin also helps easily remove dead skin from the feet. Crush 7 tablets and add half a teaspoon of lemon juice to make a paste. Apply the mixture to the soles and cover with a warm cloth. Leave on for 10 minutes and then treat the feet with a pumice stone.
If you want your child to hold a pen correctly, use a rubber band.
Put the rubber band on the hand and then attach it to the wrist. Now twist it 180°. The pen will remain in the correct position.
Sprinkle salt on a grease stain on clothing as quickly as possible.
Salt absorbs most of the grease. Just sprinkle, wait and shake out. A large stain will be much easier to remove with regular washing and a small one will disappear immediately.
If you want to whip cream or egg whites faster and especially so that they have a fluffier texture, add a little salt at the beginning of whipping.
If you have opened a carton of milk or cream, know that it will last much longer if you pour a little salt into it. A small amount of salt will not change the taste, but it will save you money. My grandmother always did it when she didn’t want to lose precious milk.
If you bought a new towel that you are using for the first time, you know how great it feels. However, towels gradually lose softness and absorbency with washing, they become unpleasant to the touch and smell less appealing. To prevent this feeling, at the first opportunity pour 1 cup of salt into the wash. It will take care of the perfect condition of the towels.
Dried nail polish can be revived with remover.
A few drops of nail polish remover will cause the polish to regain its texture and become glossy. The most important thing, however, is not to add too much.

Ordinary soap usually only accentuates the purple color. For dark beet or berry stains it is better to use lemon juice. Or you can simply rub your hands with a piece of lemon.

Potatoes reduce itching and inflammation and help hydrate the wound, which increases the speed of healing. It helps with any irritation and pain.
Cabbage leaf for varicose veins and joint pain
It is enough to lightly pound the leaves of young cabbage and apply them to varicose veins as a medicinal compress. Cabbage juice contains healing substances and at the same time is pleasantly cooling.
