The woman had stage 4 thyroid cancer, but she refused chemotherapy. She believed that the disease could be defeated by other means. This, of course, is not an encouragement to refuse treatment; everything depends on your judgment. The woman decided to refuse chemotherapy because her disease was already at a very serious stage and she did not want to die from the horrible side effects of chemotherapy. So she chose a different path!

The main thing is to decide to make a change

With a diagnosis of stage 4 thyroid cancer, doctors predicted an extremely rapid end. She was told she had only a year to live, and even that would have been an exceptional success. The woman underwent several operations to remove the cancer and decided that she would try to permanently heal her body. In such a situation there is nothing left to lose. She took several decisive steps:

  • she stopped smoking,
  • she started practicing yoga,
  • she gave up unhealthy food,
  • she ate lots of fruit and vegetables every day.

Tune into health

It is said that several factors are decisive for a healthy body and mind: our environment, our long-term disposition, sufficient sleep and the intake of healthy organic foods. Also important are enough physical activity and the effort to become aware of one’s own needs and to fulfill them.  Some people even turn to meditation and cannot praise it enough.

Don’t forget about yourself

In the end the woman began to recover six months after starting self-treatment! The cancer cells, of course, did not disappear completely, but their number in the body decreased. And most importantly – the woman with this terrifying diagnosis is still alive and her quality of life is even better than that of some perfectly healthy people. From the story you can take two fundamental messages. First, the fight against cancer can be won! And second – what we eat every day, how we live, how physically active we are – all of this can strongly affect our body and should not be forgotten.
