A light cake with a crispy crust and a marbled pattern in the slice will be enjoyed mainly by children, but it is also great with coffee for adults. The recipe is very simple, fairly quick, and absolutely ideal for all lovers of chocolate and moist desserts! Don’t hesitate and get started on preparing this wonderful dessert, which we could call „night and day“.

Ingredients for a delicious cake

To prepare this excellent sweet you will need 200 g of tvaroh (curd cheese), ½ a can of condensed milk, 3 eggs, 0.7 kg of wheat flour, vanilla, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 100 g of dark chocolate, 60 g of butter and 250 g of sugar. You surely have all these ingredients at home right now, so nothing prevents you from starting to prepare the dessert.

Recipe preparation

First prepare the light layer. Mix the tvaroh with the eggs and vanilla sugar. Pour in the condensed milk, add the flour and beat with a mixer. Then you can prepare the dark layer. Pour a little water into a bowl. Break the chocolate into pieces. Melt it over low heat. Mix the soft butter with the sugar. Add the eggs to the butter with sugar and beat with a mixer.

Pour in the hot chocolate, add the flour, baking powder and continue beating until the batter is smooth. Line the pan with baking paper. Pour half of the dark batter and spread it evenly. On top pour the light batter in circles. Pour the dark batter over them. Alternate pouring light and dark batter until everything is used. Swirl the batter with a skewer without reaching the bottom.

Put everything in the oven and you’re done!

Place the batter in an oven preheated to 160 degrees and bake for about one and a half hours, checking if it’s done with a wooden skewer. Remove the cake from the paper and let it cool. Then carefully slice it with a sharp knife into 10 to 12 pieces and serve as cake. The process is simple and the cake is slightly moist inside, very tender and very chocolaty.
