There are many proven gardening tips that will save you a lot of money and are often more effective than expensive store-bought products. Today you will learn, what kind of nutrition to give your cucumbers so you can look forward to a truly abundant harvest.

We need:

  • a larger metal or plastic container
  • mown grass
  • water
  • 15 l bucket
  • 1 l preserving jar

Procedure:

Fill the container with the mown grass almost to the top (leave about 10 cm free from the top). Then pour in water and let stand for 4-5 days.

After this time prepare a 15 l bucket of water and a 1l preserving jar. Mix two jars of grass concentrate with 15 l of water. If you have a smaller bucket, use only 1 jar of concentrate.

Then pour one jar of such nutrient to each cucumber root once every 10 days.

It is ideal to combine this fertilizer with another natural nutrient, such as a solution of wood ash.

We need:

  • 2 l wood ash
  • 10 l water

Procedure:

Into a larger container pour 2l of wood ash and add 10 l of water.

Dilute half a liter of the solution with a bucket of water and water the cucumbers at the roots about every 10 – 14 days.

Regular application of ash to the soil – in the form of a pour-over or simply sprinkling on the surface layer, acts against diseases and protects crops even from the whims of the weather; – it increases their resistance. Plants, that are watered with water containing ash stop being attractive to aphids and “leaf-eating” pests.

The final tip for excellent nutrition for cucumbers is a yeast solution.

We need:

  • 10 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp dried yeast
  • 3 l water
  • 3/4 bucket of water for dilution

Procedure:

Pour about 3 l of water into a large bottle, add 10 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of dried yeast. Let it sit in a warm place and then dilute with a bucket of water. Apply this nutrient to the cucumber roots in an amount of about 0.5 l per plant.

Treat your cucumbers to this kind of nutrition and you can look forward to a rich and healthy harvest!
