Young people from Indonesia are using women’s sanitary pads as a completely new hallucinogen. They boil the pads in water and then drink the decoction. Experts in the area have officially confirmed such cases.

Indonesian youths are using both new and already used pads in order to legitimately reach a state of bliss.
As indicated by the National Anti-Narcotics Agency in Indonesia, synthetic mixtures in the liners cause individuals to feel like they are flying and fantasizing as a result of the effect of these substances.
Several articles about these disturbing and inexplicable demonstrations in recent weeks have been written by outlets such as the Jakarta Post, Jawa Pos and Pos Belitung.
New narcotics
On the island of Java, which is home to the capital, Jakarta police caught several intoxicated young people who admitted that they had boosted their state by a bizarre method using sanitary pads.
“They took sterile pads from the discarded trash and boiled them in hot water.”
A 14-year-old boy from the island of Belitung off eastern Sumatra, who admitted he was “high” from decoctions of used pads, told locals about this method of producing hallucinogens.
The sanitary pad must be removed from its wrapper and boiled for about 60 minutes, at which point the water is then allowed to cool. Finally, the pad is removed and the decoction is drunk.
The boy claimed that this method produces a very bitter drink that he and his friends drink in the morning, afternoon and evening.
