Recipe

We said that this is an entirely natural recipe made from items that are commonly available and that you can often already have at home.

You will need

  • 4 lemons with peels not chemically treated
  • 1 ginger root
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • water

These three things are enough to benefit your health like never before. Just take a pot and you can get started.

Prepare the ingredients

First, pay attention to the lemons, which will be boiled together with their peel. Therefore it is necessary that they are not chemically treated. They should also be washed thoroughly, as there may be dirt from the store on them. Then simply cut each lemon into quarters. When that’s done, place the lemons into the pot.
The second step is preparing the garlic. Here you need to peel the individual cloves and then wash them thoroughly in water. After that, cut them in half and throw them into the pot. Cutting them is necessary because the substances you need to extract from the cloves are released much more easily into the water.
Finally, take the ginger root. It has a tough skin which you should peel with a knife. Wash it well again and then cut it into pieces about 2 centimeters long. Add these cut pieces to the other ingredients.
Pour in water and boil
Now just pour in the recommended half liter of water, turn on the stove and proceed to the final preparation. Cover with a lid and slowly bring to a boil; as soon as the water starts to boil, turn off the stove, leave the lid on the pot and let everything cool down slowly. This is the most effective way to extract as much as possible from the ingredients while avoiding the risk of destroying important substances by prolonged boiling.

Usage

Simply drink it lukewarm or at room temperature. The amount of 0.5 liters is the ideal dose for one full day. It is suitable to drink this decoction three times a day. Drink it on an empty stomach — before breakfast, before lunch, and before dinner. The reason is that the substances are absorbed more quickly from an empty stomach. After drinking, do not eat for at least 20–30 minutes to get the maximum benefit from the decoction.
As for the duration of use, it should be said that this is one of the long-term remedies, mainly because it helps relieve long-term health problems. From generation to generation the recipe was passed down along with the knowledge that you should always use this drink for 3 consecutive weeks and then take a 1-week break.
