Lice are often a big problem for children and especially for their parents. Children usually bring lice home from school from classmates. Lice are insects that feed on human blood on the surface of the head. They can even be contagious. They are most commonly caught by children, but adults can catch them too. Lice then cause inflammation and unpleasant itching on the scalp. If lice are not addressed in time, an infection can occur.
Homemade shampoo against lice
There really are a large number of shampoos that cost a lot of money and their effect is not always as manufacturers promise. You can leave shampoo on your head for several hours, but you will still find lice the next day. If this is your case, you can achieve good results using a homemade recipe that finally works.
You will need
- Listerine
- Nit comb
- White vinegar
- Shower cap
- Towels
Usage
Wash your hair and apply mouthwash. Cover with a plastic bag and leave it like that for 60 minutes. Then apply vinegar to the head and leave it under the cap for another hour. Remove the cap and shampoo your hair. Then take a comb with special teeth and remove the dead lice.
The scent of Listerine keeps lice away from you because the smell of the mouthwash prevents them from inhabiting your hair. Add Listerine to a bottle and spray it before sending your child to school. It doesn’t take more than a few hours.
This is better than harsh ineffective chemicals.
Benefits of this treatment
