Over time the oven’s interior becomes covered with a layer of soot and grease, and an unpleasant smell can be noticed during baking. Of course, the oven needs to be cleaned as soon as possible.
We offer several simple and affordable ways to clean the oven
Grate a little laundry soap into hot water, stir until it dissolves, pour into a pan and place in the oven. Turn it on to 120 degrees and heat for 30 minutes. Do not open the door. Then take a kitchen sponge and wash everything inside – the dirt will come off easily. Laundry soap can be replaced with dishwashing liquid.
If you want to clean the glass on the oven door, mix baking soda with warm water and spread this paste onto the oven door, leave it for 20 minutes and then wipe it off. Coat the inside of the oven with vinegar and leave for 15 minutes. Wipe all surfaces with a kitchen towel and rinse with water. You can mix baking soda with vinegar and apply this mixture to the interior surface of the oven. Let it sit for 20 minutes and clean with a sponge and clean water.
In a glass container mix 1 liter of water and 1 tablespoon of 9% vinegar. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees and let it act for 30 minutes. Wipe the switched-off oven while it’s still warm – the dirt will then quickly come off the entire surface. If necessary, repeat the procedure.
Heavy soiling is cleaned with ammonia
Wipe the entire surface of the oven and leave it overnight with the door closed. Mix warm water and dish soap and rinse the oven, then rinse with clean water and wipe with a dry cloth.
Limescale and dirt on the bottom of the oven can be removed using ordinary salt
Pour a layer of salt, turn on the oven and wait until the salt turns brown. Remove the salt and wash the surface with clean water, then wipe it dry.
You can sprinkle the surface with baking powder, drip water on it and wait 20 – 30 minutes. During this time the baking powder will absorb grease and dirt. Afterwards you only need to wipe it off lightly.
Mix grated laundry soap with vinegar and baking soda and spread it over the entire interior of the oven. Let it sit for 3 hours. Rinse with warm water and a kitchen cloth.
For an effective cleaning agent mix 1 \ 4 cups of water, salt and baking soda into a thick paste. Moisten the oven inside and out and apply this mixture for several hours or even overnight. You can also add a little laundry detergent.
Perfect oven cleaning
Mix citric acid, baking powder and dish soap. Measure all the ingredients by the tablespoon and stir to the consistency of sour cream.
Apply the mixture to dirty spots and leave for 20 minutes. Clean with a sponge and clean water, then wipe dry.
