Baked potatoes in foil are known to almost everyone. They are fragrant, crispy, easy to prepare and can be a great treat served with various kinds of sauces or dips. How to prepare such potatoes and which seasoning will be best for them? We reveal that in the following recipe.

An important ingredient here is garlic

If you want to make new potatoes in foil, you must prepare:

  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 3–4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon of dried rosemary

How to roast such potatoes? Simply wash the potatoes and clean them thoroughly. Do not peel them, because otherwise the baked potatoes will lose their charm. In a bowl prepare the olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, garlic and the sprigs of thyme. Pour this mixture over the potatoes, put them on foil, wrap carefully, place on a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for about 50 minutes. Then make a hole in the foil and leave them in the oven for another ten minutes, until the skin becomes grainy. That way you will know the potatoes are done.
