Are you expecting a special visitor or do you want to treat your family to an excellent dessert? A dessert called “egg” will be an excellent choice. It is soft, delicious and melts on the tongue. At the same time, the peaches and jelly add a balanced flavor, a delightful aroma, and your taste buds will send signals to your brain for another bite on the plate.

Preparation of ingredients

There is nothing complicated about this delicious cake and even complete beginners will definitely be able to prepare it. Just follow the exact procedure and precise quantities of ingredients. You will need:

  • Biscuits 180 – 200 grams – about one pack of BeBe-type biscuits
  • Canned or jarred peaches 250 grams
  • Milk 125 ml
  • Powdered sugar 3 tablespoons
  • Gelatin 1 teaspoon
  • Mascarpone cheese 800 grams
  • Lemon jelly 2 sachets
  • Whipping cream for whipping or quark (tvaroh) 300 ml
  • Vanilla sugar 10 grams
  • Vanilla, one pinch

Preparation and method

First you must dissolve one packet of lemon jelly in 500 milliliters of boiling water and, while stirring constantly, let it boil – the exact procedure can be found on the product packaging. Now pour one teaspoon of gelatin into a bowl and cover it with two tablespoons of cold milk, stir and let it sit so the gelatin swells. Then pour the remaining milk into a saucepan, add the vanilla sugar and vanilla and bring to a boil. As soon as the gelatin expands, pour it into the milk and, stirring constantly, let it thicken over reduced heat. Now whip the cream into a thick foam. Then, in a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone, powdered sugar and the chilled gelatin. Now mix everything thoroughly or lightly whip with a hand mixer. Next add the chilled milk with the teaspoon of gelatin, the cream mixture and stir best with a wooden spoon; stop as soon as the mixture is smooth.

Prepare the pan

Prepare a pan lined with baking paper and place one layer of biscuits on the bottom. Pour the prepared mixture over the biscuits and place it in the refrigerator for about 40–50 minutes. Open the peaches and pour out their juice. You still have one sachet of lemon jelly left, which you will now prepare. Dissolve the jelly in boiling water and let it sit for a while. You can also heat the peach juice; the jelly will then have a better flavor. After the time has passed, take the cake out and arrange the peach halves on it, pour the jelly over the whole. Place the cake back in the refrigerator and let it set for up to three hours. Enjoy your meal!
