There are still people who consume instant Chinese soups on a large scale. However, as has been shown before, they are not beneficial to our health at all — rather the opposite — so it’s good to remind ourselves about this „poison“.

All you have to do is pour the noodles into a bowl, add all the ingredients that are included in the packet, pour boiling water over them and wait two or three minutes. They are also very cheap, which is why students, who always need to save a bit of cash, consume them the most. But the question arises — is it really necessary to skimp on your own health? As it turns out, these instant dishes contain nothing good and in extreme cases can even kill a person.

They are full of preservatives

If you look at the date until which you can consume these noodles, you’ll suddenly find that you can just put them at the bottom of your drawer and pull them out even after several years. These dishes are full of preservatives, such as tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ).

You face the risk of metabolic syndrome

Eating instant noodles twice or three times a week can increase the risk of developing metabolic syndrome, especially in women. It is associated with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, excess fat in the abdominal area, and high blood sugar, which subsequently leads to diabetes, stroke, or heart disease.

They contain a large amount of sodium

Such a high amount of sodium does make the noodles tastier, but in the proportion contained in a single serving it can lead to kidney damage and heart disease may even occur.

They lack nutrients

Instant noodles do not contain any important nutrients, such as proteins, vitamins or minerals. In fact, during digestion they simply absorb nutrients, so all the healthy foods we ate during the day are rendered ineffective.

Women face the risk of miscarriage

If you are a woman and expectant, you should not consume these noodles at all. The ingredients contained in them can harm fetal development, which leads to miscarriage. Instead of instant meals, choose healthy foods that are much more suitable for you.

They contain carbohydrates

Instant Chinese soups have no nutritional value; they are only full of carbohydrates. The only nutrient present here is sodium, again in large amounts, which means this dish „gives“ us nothing, but at least it fills us up.

They contribute to obesity

Noodles are full of sugar, salt, vegetable oil and other not very healthy substances. Consequently, consuming this dish leads to weight gain and obesity. Once a person crosses this threshold, instant foods can literally become an addiction.

They contain propylene glycol

Propylene glycol is a synthetic compound that is commonly found in shampoos and conditioners and, unfortunately, also in instant soups. The body absorbs this compound, which leads to a weakened immune system and damage to the liver, kidneys and heart.
