Clove is a spice that originally came to us from very distant China. It has been used there in medicine for many centuries. It is an aromatic spice that holds many positive effects on the human organism. In our country we are mostly used to its culinary use, but we will advise you how to use it much better.
Clove
If you’ve ever tried chewing a clove in your mouth for a sore throat, you did the right thing. One of the best-known effects of this small but distinctive spice is a very strong disinfectant action. Clove thus immediately destroys all bacteria and various other microorganisms. For this reason it is recommended to chew clove for toothache or a burned tongue. But this list of its effects is only just beginning!
Parasite cleansing
Getting rid of parasites is very simple. If you feel that your stomach is not right and something is stirring in your intestines, chew clove for several days about half an hour before eating. Chew it at least twice a day; if you don’t mind its aroma, then feel free to do so more often. These are strong preventive measures. So if you are prone to diarrhea or digestive problems, clove is right for you, because it is an excellent prevention that stops the multiplication of any parasites. It may sound miraculous, but even if you start taking it at the last moment, when you already feel terribly ill, it will still help.
Clove will also rid your body of Staphylococcus aureus, but in that case remember that it is still only a supplement to medications for faster treatment. In the case of staphylococci you must, first and foremost, follow medical instructions.
An interesting fact is also that clove significantly affects even the very bacillus associated with tuberculosis!
For oral use
Are you troubled by inflamed gums, stomatitis, or periodontitis? Remember that the essential oils contained in a single small clove will remove bad breath, inflammation, and stop bleeding. Chewing clove is much more effective than rinsing the mouth with chemical products, and any reputable dentist will confirm that.
Purulent tonsils
Strep throat is an unpleasant thing and the purulent plugs in the throat are the most unpleasant symptom. If you have the stomach for it and can endure the pain, crush a clove finely, mix it with a little honey or a bit of clean water and soak a cotton swab for ear cleaning in this mixture. Then run it over the purulent plugs. Not only will you get immediate relief from the pain because clove temporarily numbs the mucous membrane locally, but it is possible that the plugs will loosen under the strength of the oils and you can wipe them down from your throat. However, be careful with direct contact — you may gag if you irritate your throat too much. If you don’t feel up to that, at least chew clove. That will help you more than nothing.
Better digestion
Clove also strengthens the digestive tract and improves the processes in it. Therefore chew them for a minute before each and every meal, even before an ordinary piece of cake with coffee.
However, definitely avoid them if you have diagnosed stomach or esophageal ulcers or high blood pressure. In that case clove might not suit you at all! On the other hand, use it if you suffer from gastritis, bloating and low pH in the body.
Cancer prevention
The effects of clove as a prevention against the growth and multiplication of diseased cells, that is cancer, have long been known. Clove even helps in cases where you have cancer, because its effects are so strong that they prevent the formation and multiplication of new cells. If you have someone in your family with this disease and suspect heredity, you can’t go wrong by chewing clove preventively, even if you have no symptoms yet. At the very least your breath will never stink.
Increasing blood pressure
If you suffer from low blood pressure, we also recommend chewing a little dried clove daily. It is quite enough if you just break off the top buds, which contain a lot of goodness. They are even stronger than coffee! They will relieve you of headaches, lethargy and strengthen your defenses.
And how to tell if the clove you have at home is still fresh?
Simply soak it in a bowl of water. If it floats horizontally, you can only use it in gingerbread cookies. However, if it floats vertically or sinks completely, then you can consume it orally as you wish.
