A scientific study led by Kyung-Chul Choi and his team at the Korean Institute of Biology confirmed that triclosan has harmful effects, particularly on the hormonal system in the human body.
Triclosan negatively affects the endocrine system. It also induces mutations of cells in the body.
Another substance that soaps contain is octylphenol. It is also a carcinogen.
The worst scenario for the human body occurs when both of these dangerous substances are present in the soap you use. Together the substances have a much greater potency and lead to significant mutation of cells.
