Instant soups are suitable on a day when you don’t have time to prepare a proper meal or if you are troubled by a lack of money, because they are truly a cheap option for a quick meal that you can easily prepare at home. Experts, however, warn that if these soups are consumed three times or more a week, your risk of diabetes and stroke increases dramatically.

Instant soups and noodles

Researchers from the USA conducted this study. In the USA instant soups and noodles are very popular. They cost almost nothing and are ready to eat immediately and without work.

Scientists examined people who consume these instant noodles and soups several times a week and studied their bodies.

At the conclusion of the study they found that these people have a manyfold increased risk of developing diabetes or stroke.

Preservatives

These popular foods contain harmful preservatives. Thanks to these substances the minimum shelf life is extended up to three times and the soups can be consumed for much longer. However, if someone consumes these products regularly, too many of these preservative substances are absorbed into the body and they become carcinogenic.

Digestion

Moreover, for such a soup or noodles to be processed in the stomach, the stomach has to work with all its might. The digestion of these noodles in our body lasts up to 32 hours. The body eventually digests the noodles, but it also absorbs all the harmful substances and the body is tired after such digestion.

Cardiovascular disease

Specifically, the substances contained in this product promote the development of metabolic syndrome. This significantly increases the risk of heart disease, diabetes and stroke.

It also raises blood pressure, blood cholesterol, blood sugar and promotes the growth of belly fat.

Refined flour

These noodles are made from refined flour, but all the properties of that flour are removed except for a large amount of carbohydrates in the form of starch. And it is these that cause an increase in blood sugar levels and that causes diabetes.

The following video will explain all the risks of this diet.
