Scammers lurk around every corner these days. Innocent, unsuspecting people often pay the price for their calculated tricks. We recently informed you that if you find money under your windshield wipers, you should never take it. Today we’ll look at another illegal activity thieves carry out almost everywhere, where people don’t even suspect it might be a crime.
Only recently a report appeared that people are widely finding plastic bottles on the rear wheel. For example, you walk out of a shopping center and suddenly see a plastic bottle on the rear wheel. This is still the better case. You might think someone left it there who couldn’t find a trash can; you take the bottle and throw it away. You won’t be fooled, then.
Thieves’ trick
Many people simply don’t notice a bottle on the rear right wheel. Few people check the wheels before getting into the vehicle, or walk around the car from the passenger side. It goes like this. You get into the car, start it and move off. The wedged bottle makes a loud clatter and you, as the driver, are startled because you don’t know what it is. You get out of the car and go to check it.
That’s exactly the moment thieves step in, who will rob your car in a second. We assume that none of you would get out taking your keys and personal items like your mobile phone and wallet. Also, nobody locks the car when they get out to check what happened.
Although it may seem impossible, thieves can really steal in a second and you may not even notice. Always watch your personal belongings and pay extra attention to such suspicious situations. We also warn drivers not to leave personal items, wallets, mobile phones or laptops in the car during their absence.
