The State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic (ŠVPS ČR) has warned via its official website about a non-compliant product that may also be present on the Slovak market.
Dangerous product
During a check of the health safety of products, discrepancies appeared in the case of one of the goods. It concerns,, Hamánek – tuna with vegetables and potato á 190 grams, manufacturer Slovácka Fruta, a.s., na Drahách 814, 686 04 Kunovice, DMT 13.1.2021. “
The analyzed sample showed an elevated mercury content, its value being three times higher than the stated limit. Most of the 4,500 packages were sent from the Czech Republic abroad, as a result of which it may also be found on the Slovak market. The dangerous baby food is currently being withdrawn from the market.
