The recent period has been very difficult for pharmaceutical companies. Three large studies were published that completely refuted any effectiveness of several of the most commonly used drugs.
The consequences of these studies can be devastating for these companies because these are extremely profitable drugs that often form the main core of their revenues.
Only 1 of 14 antidepressants is better than placebo
The first of the mentioned studies was published in the prestigious scientific journal The Lancet.
It acknowledged that the risks of antidepressant drugs in children significantly outweigh the benefits, because the drugs dramatically increase the risk of suicide.
Only one out of 14 drugs showed that it improves depression better than placebo.
Cholesterol-lowering drugs are said to be absolutely worthless
The second group of drugs that took a serious hit were cholesterol-lowering drugs. Those used by nearly one in 20 people have proven to be completely worthless.
A group of international researchers published a study in the British Medical Journal (British medical journal) that found there is no relationship between so-called „bad cholesterol“ and deaths due to heart disease.
On the contrary, the study concluded that up to 92 % of people with high blood cholesterol levels live longer.
The best way to maintain a healthy heart is therefore not by taking cholesterol drugs, but by adhering to the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
As Professor Sherif Sultan from the Irish University further states:
„Lowering cholesterol with drugs in people over 60 is a waste of time and resources.
On the other hand, changing lifestyle habits is the only and most important way to secure quality of life in retirement. „
Lowering cholesterol with drugs is a total waste of time
The study’s co-author, Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, states:
„Older people with high levels of „bad“ LDL cholesterol (low-density lipoproteins) actually lived longer and had less heart disease.“
These latest findings will have huge implications for the pharmaceutical industry because cholesterol-lowering drugs are among their best-selling and most profitable products of all time.
According to Health Impact News, last year their sales reached the level of $140 billion.
For this reason, guidelines and protocols regarding plaque deposition in veins and arteries will have to be revised, the study authors say, adding that „”the benefits of cholesterol drugs were exaggerated”“.
The truth, however, is that their benefits were not just overstated, but completely 100% fabricated and falsified. The same applies to antidepressants and vaccines.
In 2013 the portal Natural News published a report that doctors connected to the medical and pharmaceutical lobby were trying to ensure that every third person would take cholesterol drugs.
It was a move designed to secure astronomical revenues for pharmaceutical companies and the doctors they sponsored.
When conflicts of interest were subsequently examined, it was difficult, if not impossible, to find a group of doctors who did not have any financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry.
New study says that current administration of vaccines to children is not safe
The third significant recent study that discredits pharmaceutical companies, published in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, concerns childhood vaccines.
It found that the reality is once again completely different from what has been claimed to parents for many years when vaccinating their children.
For example, authorities recommend (in the Czech Republic required by law) vaccinating with the Hexa vaccine (polio, hepatitis B, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough and Haemophilus influenzae type B) together with the pneumococcal vaccine.
This combination is currently administered to children up to three times during the first year of life!
The fact, however, is that this combination has never been tested for safety, says medical researcher Neil Z. Miller.
Conclusion
So there you have it! The reputation of the pharmaceutical industry, as well as government agencies, has no credibility. Therefore people should no longer trust them so much.
The best way to stay healthy is to practice a healthy lifestyle that includes a balanced diet, exercise and techniques to calm the mind such as yoga or meditation.
