Water — it’s a feeling of cleanliness and freshness and it gives us some kind of joy. For many people the shower is the time when you have space just for yourself. To wash off everything unwanted and come out of it like a “new person”. However, sometimes the desired feeling doesn’t occur and quite the opposite happens. Do you know which 5 things cause this? What causes it?

1. Too long a shower:

The longer you stay in the shower, the worse it will be for you. It has actually been proven when scientists looked into the adverse effects on the body. If you also like a hot shower, here’s the reason why you shouldn’t spend so much time in it anymore. Hot water unnecessarily dries out the skin, which can trigger rashes or itching. You should limit such a shower to at most 10 minutes.

Washing sponges:

Sponges, washcloths, loofahs and other things for cleaning the skin are not as helpful as you think — on the contrary. If something is used multiple times, that means there will be that much more dirt and bacteria in it. Don’t expect that rinsing them makes them clean. This can cause skin problems and spread unpleasant infections.

3. Unnecessarily hot water:

A hot bath and a hot shower are a favorite way to relax not only for women but also for men. However, we should consider whether it is really beneficial for our body. Not at all! You unnecessarily dry out your skin and none of your natural oils remain. Warm water also promotes other problems that sometimes need a doctor to treat.
