Pineapple and anise – a great combination!

Pineapple contains bromelain, which has anti-inflammatory effects.

It also supports wound healing and reduces pain. Anise, on the other hand, suppresses cramps and works great against parasites. Research has shown that drinking pineapple water reduces asthma symptoms and also helps with weight loss.

We need:

  • 8 glasses of hot water
  • 1/2 cup of peeled and chopped pineapple
  • 1 teaspoon of crushed anise

Preparation:

 
Peel the pineapple, cut it into larger cubes and put it into a pot. Pour in 8 glasses of hot water. When the water cools, add a teaspoon of anise, cover with a lid and let it sit overnight. So simple! The pineapple water is ready! You can strain it, or enjoy the pieces of pineapple and anise.
