Oregano tea

You need:
- 300 ml of water
- 3 tbsp fresh or 1 tbsp dried oregano
Procedure
- Let the water come to a boil.
- Then pour boiling water over the oregano.
- Cover and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Finally, simply strain the tea.
To treat a cold, prepare a strong oregano tea:
Pour 250 ml of water over 2 tbsp of dried herb. For calming the nerves, 1 tsp of oregano will be enough; let it steep for 30 minutes.
In addition to tea, decoction and extract, you can make powder or oil from oregano by pressing the juice from its leaves. If you suffer from insomnia, fill a cloth sachet with the dried herb and place it near your pillow. Oregano will help you relax and fall asleep faster.
Other useful properties of common oregano tea
For colds it helps expel phlegm, reduces inflammation and sore throat pain.
