The latest scientific research shows that consuming the seven foods we present to you today is extremely beneficial in the case of cancer.

These foods significantly slow down, or even completely stop, its growth and subsequently lead to the death of cancer cells.

Moreover, many of these foods have been shown to be more effective at suppressing cancer than chemotherapy.

How these foods work against cancer

The process of forming new blood vessels is called angiogenesis. It is more active during certain life stages, for example in newborns.

Later in life it becomes suppressed. However, this does not apply to some specific tissues, for example the formation of capillaries in scars after injuries.

The process is regulated by activators and inhibitors — this is so that it stays in balance and stops when it has fulfilled its purpose.

Red wine

Blueberries and raspberries

Both of these types of berries are extremely effective in preventing various types of cancer.

Besides stopping angiogenesis, they significantly reduce oxidative stress caused by toxins and free radicals.

Tomatoes

Research conducted at Harvard University showed that participants who consumed tomato sauce or cooked tomatoes more than 4 times a month had a reduced risk of prostate cancer by up to 50%.

Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, a very strong antioxidant with anti-angiogenic effects.

Lycopene is easily fat-soluble and is quickly absorbed in the intestines into the bloodstream, which carries it directly to the places needed in the body.

Dark chocolate

Fighting cancer doesn’t mean you have to completely give up sweets. Specifically, dark chocolate is extremely healthy.

In addition to cancer protection, it supports heart health, improves mood and provides many other positive effects for the body.

Coffee and green tea
