A nutrition expert shocked us with his claim that, after all, it’s not always about what we eat. Apparently, what we drink is important too. If you want to lose a few kilograms, it’s not just about water. There are many drinks that can significantly and visibly help you in this fight.

We will need:

  • 5 cm of ginger
  • a handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 500 ml of water
  • a little cinnamon

Today we’ll prepare a ginger drink that is not only effective, but also tasty, and during this winter season will warm your whole body.

This drink was already known in ancient times. Ginger contains many active compounds that stimulate metabolic processes in the body and thus help with weight loss, speed up fat burning and also improve blood circulation. At the same time, these are anti-inflammatory substances that can deal with infections and help intestinal function.

Instructions:

Peel the ginger and put it together with the mint into a blender, where you blend it into a puree. Add the cinnamon and hot water. Put the entire mixture into a pot and simmer for about 30 minutes over low heat. Remove from the heat and let it cool. Add the juice of 1 grapefruit and a teaspoon of honey.
