We will need:
- 5 cm of ginger
- a handful of fresh mint leaves
- 1 grapefruit
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 500 ml of water
- a pinch of cinnamon
Today we will prepare a ginger drink that is not only effective but also tasty, and in this winter season it will warm your whole body.
This drink was known even in ancient times. Ginger contains many active compounds that stimulate metabolic processes in the body and therefore help with weight loss, accelerate burning and also the blood circulation. At the same time they are anti-inflammatory substances that can handle infections and aid intestinal function.
Procedure:
Peel the ginger and put it together with the mint into a blender, where you blend it into a puree. Add the cinnamon and hot water. Put the whole mixture into a pot and simmer for about 30 minutes on low heat. Remove from the heat and let it cool. Add the juice of 1 grapefruit and a teaspoon of honey.
