Protection for your pets too

You can tuck this sachet into clothing for dogs or cats and it works for them too. It is not good to put it on their collar, it is too aromatic for them and also disturbing.

Why does fennel work?

The specific scent of fennel repels ticks and so you can be sure that the little predator will not choose you as its prey and will not infect you with any of the serious diseases it can transmit, such as Lyme disease or encephalitis.

Other herbs against ticks

Other herbs that ticks dislike include citronella, wormwood, lemon balm, basil, as well as carnations and tansy. You can also succeed with essential oils of heather, cypress or marsh pennyroyal.
