If you want to lose weight, but at the same time don’t feel like paying too much attention to what you eat, then this cucumber diet is made just for you.

To get the maximum benefit from it, you must follow it for at least 10 days, ideally 14.

During this period you will consume only the specific foods listed a little below. Besides this diet, however, you will need to be at least a little physically active.

You don’t have to spend hours in the gym right away; 10 to 15 minutes of brisk walking a few times during the day, or walking up at least 3 to 4 flights of stairs several times a day, will suffice.

Regarding food, the rule here is that you can eat fresh cucumber anytime and in any quantity, especially when you get hungry.

List of foods that you will consume daily besides cucumbers:

  • 300 grams of any fruit (your favorite)
  • 3 slices of whole-grain bread or 2 medium boiled potatoes (they may be boiled or baked, but not fried)
  • 150 grams of tuna (without oil) or 2 boiled eggs or 150 grams of grilled white meat
  • fluids: tea, coffee without sugar (no sweetened drinks and alcohol are allowed)

You can eat fresh cucumber salad or drink a cucumber shake at any time between or with other meals. Whenever you feel hungry, eat one or the other. Quantity doesn’t matter.

Daily cucumber diet

Here you will find a schedule of which foods to consume during the day:

Breakfast: Cucumber salad and 2 hard-boiled eggs.

Mid-morning: Fresh fruit – for example 1 large apple, 1 peach (less than 200 grams) and 5 plums.

Lunch: Whole-grain bread (can be toasted) with cucumber salad.

Snack: Cucumber shake.

Dinner: Fresh fruit salad (300 grams).

Recipe for cucumber salad

To make the cucumber salad you will need:

  • 400 grams of fresh cucumber
  • 200 ml of soured milk (unflavored and unsweetened) or plain yogurt
  • a pinch of salt
  • fresh spring onion

Method for making the cucumber salad

First peel the cucumber and cut it into small pieces. Then add a little salt and mix well.

Next add the yogurt or soured milk and mix well again. Finally add the fresh spring onion and your cucumber salad is ready.

 
Recipe for cucumber shake

To make the cucumber shake you will need:

  • 1 apple
  • a handful of spinach
  • 1 cucumber
  • a 1 to 2 cm long piece of ginger root
  • 20 grams of almonds or walnuts

Method for making the cucumber shake

Start by placing the washed and chopped apple, spinach and cucumber (unpeeled) into a blender and blend everything well.

Then add the fresh peeled piece of ginger and continue blending. After finishing, pour the shake into a large glass jar and top it with crushed almonds or walnuts.

It is important that you consume the cucumber shake as soon as possible so that its healing properties are not lost.

It contains a large amount of vitamins, minerals and enzymes such as: vitamins A, C, E, K and B-group vitamins, as well as iron, magnesium, calcium, fiber, etc.

Don’t forget that during this diet you should increase your normal physical activity somewhat.

In addition to the already mentioned brisk walking and taking the stairs, you can also do light jogging, cycling, exercise at home on a mat or even go to the gym.
