In our article today we will reveal to you the recipe for a refreshing drink that will relieve you of almost every kind of pain – whether headache, stomach ache, back, muscle or joint pain.

 

It owes its versatile effects in reducing various types of pain to the synergistic effect of its individual ingredients.

Ingredients

To make it you will need:

  • 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (preferably Ceylon – in Slovakia you can buy it HERE, in the Czech Republic HERE)
  • 1 dcl of almond milk
  • 2 teabags of black tea
  • 4 to 5 dcl of water
  • 2 teaspoons of turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons of cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger

Preparation

Proceed as follows:

1. Pour the water into a pot and add the ginger, turmeric, cardamom and cinnamon. Bring the water to a boil, cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

2. Finally add the black tea and boil for another 2 minutes.

3. After boiling, strain the liquid and let it cool to lukewarm temperature. Then add the almond milk and honey and mix everything well.

Usage

First drink 2 dcl of this universal pain-relieving drink. Keep the rest for later and consume it throughout the day.

It won’t take long before your pains begin to ease, or even disappear completely.

Do not drink more than one serving of this drink per day. If the pain persists into the next day, prepare a fresh batch and proceed similarly.

Why this drink works so well

As we have already stated in the introduction, its effects are due to the synergistic effect of its ingredients, each of which has an impact on the body in suppressing pain.

 

Honey relieves pain by suppressing inflammation and speeding up the regeneration of mucous membranes. It destroys many resistant bacteria that can cause infections.

 
Cinnamon has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It is excellent for relieving back and joint pain. Recent studies have shown that it even prevents the occurrence of heart attacks and type 2 diabetes.

Almond milk effectively helps with muscle and head pains. This is due to its content of the substance salicin, which is similar to the active ingredient in aspirin. Additionally, it keeps the heart healthy and regulates body weight.

Black tea reduces muscle damage resulting from intense exercise. It is also effective for headaches, prevents cancer, slows skin aging, strengthens blood vessels and has many other positive effects on the body.

Water is essential for almost all bodily functions. Often, simply drinking water is enough to relieve a headache. Moreover, proper hydration protects the kidneys from damage.

Cardamom suppresses bad breath, flushes toxins from the kidneys, prevents the formation of blood clots, reduces stress, depression and blood pressure and also alleviates flu symptoms. It has positive effects on digestion and the intestines, thereby relieving stomach pain, constipation and bloating.

Ginger reduces menstrual pain and cramps. It suppresses inflammation excellently and is also effective against headaches and stomach pain.
