How the recipe’s ingredients work

Garlic, on the other hand, has strong antiviral, antibacterial and antiseptic effects.

Its active compound allicin is extremely beneficial for your body. In addition, similarly to lemon, it contains a fair amount of vitamin C as well as vitamin B6, manganese, sulfur and other useful minerals.

Ginger has strong anti-inflammatory effects, treats digestive problems and relieves pain.

It contains many anti-inflammatory compounds, including capsaicin, beta-carotene and silicates.

Ingredients

To make this excellent natural remedy you will need the following ingredients:

  • 4 lemons (with peel)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 5 cm long piece of ginger root
  • 2 liters of clean water

Preparation

1. First, wash the lemons well to remove any possible pesticide residues from their peel. Use lukewarm water mixed with vinegar and rinse them thoroughly in it.

2. Cut the lemons into smaller pieces.

3. Peel the garlic and ginger.

4. Put all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend them well.

5. Then place them into the water and bring it to a boil. After reaching a boil, turn off the heat and let it cool. Only brief exposure to high temperature will preserve most of the vitamins and active substances.

6. After cooling, pour the liquid into smaller glass bottles with lids and place them in the refrigerator.

Usage

Drink one 200 ml glass of this drink every morning on an empty stomach and a second glass in the evening 2 hours before bedtime.

Before use, shake the bottle so that any sediment from the bottom mixes with the liquid.

As we have already mentioned, brief cooking should not significantly harm the vitamins. However, it causes the garlic to lose its odor and also makes it easier to tolerate on an empty stomach. Raw garlic could irritate the stomach.
