Hormonal changes in women’s lives are something that is completely normal. It must be said, however, that most say it came completely unexpectedly. But that’s not really the case, because the fact that a woman is going through hormonal changes should be clearly observable. By that we mean she should know it herself. Most people do not pay much attention to their body and do not attach great importance to individual symptoms. So let’s look together at the 11 symptoms that show that something is really happening in the human body.
Fatigue
It is quite normal for a woman to be tired after a full day’s work at her job and also after household chores.
However, if fatigue appears literally out of nowhere, it’s appropriate to be on guard. And mainly for the reason that it can be a hormonal change. If you as a woman are tired for a long time, it may be caused by an excess of progesterone. At this time you don’t want to do anything and you feel rather sleepy.
Insomnia
Insomnia is certainly not excluded with fatigue. Feeling tired does not necessarily mean you will sleep. You just lie there, but even if you have your eyes closed for tens of minutes, you simply won’t fall asleep. The problems are mainly that you cannot fall asleep in the evening, as well as that you wake up several times during the night. And when you then want to fall asleep again, unfortunately it won’t be possible.
Memory
Do you feel that you can’t easily recall the things you should have stored in your head? Or do you feel that when you need to concentrate and solve a certain problem, you can’t do it? Even when you are rested and fresh? This can also be a clear sign that you have more than enough progesterone. And it is a sign that certain changes are currently taking place in your body.
Acne
Do you notice significant changes in your skin? Such that pimples begin to appear mainly on your face, but also on the décolleté area? It’s acne. It occurs twice in life. First in puberty, when as a woman you go through the first hormonal changes. And then during the so-called menopause, when hormones change again. So it is not a reason for insufficient care, but it is a clear sign of various changes.
Stomach
If you often have abdominal pain, it’s good to check your diet and see what you’ve eaten. If nothing is wrong and yet your stomach hurts, the problem is in the hormones rather than in your digestion. It is not unusual that at the time of these changes the stomach is quite sensitive and so it can happen that you will have pain and sometimes various cramps may even appear.
Head
At first small pains may appear that later turn into something bigger. Specifically into migraines. If you don’t find any logical cause for the condition, then you can be sure that the problem is again connected to the fact that hormonal changes are happening in your body. Besides analgesics, it is necessary to start addressing the condition when estrogen levels in your organism decrease.
Breasts
You may notice that they change easily. And that over time. Sometimes they may seem firmer, other times less so. They can also feel different to the touch on different days. One must not forget that their sensitivity will also change. When your body goes through hormonal changes, expect quite large changes in sensitivity. You will perceive all stimuli more.
Sweating
You will sweat more than before. If you keep a fixed temperature at home, but suddenly start to sweat, that is also a sign that you may have problems with hormonal balance.
Body temperature
It’s not just sweating. A lack of estrogen can also lead to a change in your body’s temperature. It can rise. You may have a temperature that exceeds 37 degrees Celsius. That does not mean you are sick, because on the contrary it means you have a problem with hormonal balance.
Mood
Moods can change. And not only from day to day, because they can change, for example, from hour to hour. This is because the hormones in your body fluctuate quite significantly, minute by minute. This subsequently affects the fact that your emotional state can fluctuate markedly.
Cravings
Many women compare it to the cravings they had when they were pregnant. Their hormones also fluctuated quite significantly then.
When we look at what happens during this period, these are above all strong cravings for many different things. Furthermore, feelings of hunger may appear almost immediately after you eat. This is mainly influenced by the hormone leptin, whose level in your body rises.
