Traditional Chinese medicine says that with the arrival of March there is no shortage of gallbladder disorders. If you often experience fatigue or persistent headaches, it may be your case. Those are the main symptoms! How to deal with this unpleasantness?
Gallbladder weakness manifests in many ways. Besides a feeling of exhaustion it also causes joint pains – lower back, shoulders, elbows and knees. Furthermore insomnia, nausea after eating, bloating, or even migraine.
Does that sound familiar to you? Then remedies from nature’s gifts will surely come in handy …
Oregano tea
Common oregano has been used for stomach and gallbladder problems since ancient times. A bonus? It also works as an antidepressant because it improves mood. We call that killing two birds with one stone!
Pour 1/2 liter of boiling water over one tablespoon of dried herb and cover, letting it steep for ten minutes. After straining, drink a cup after each meal.
Peppermint decoction
A herb with a typical and unmistakable aroma will throw you a lifeline.
After all, it is used against nausea, loss of appetite, vomiting and intestinal troubles. But it also calms an irritated gallbladder – and even the nerves!
Pour a cup of boiling water over one tablespoon of dried peppermint leaves. After ten minutes it is ready to use. It is always drunk warm, ideally in the morning and evening.
Sage infusion
A major advantage of medicinal sage is its antiseptic abilities, which come in handy with internal organ problems. This is the right remedy!
Pour 150 milliliters of boiling water over one teaspoon. Allow the remedy to steep for 15 minutes and take a few sips half an hour before meals.
St. John’s wort tea
Common St. John’s wort is a truly miraculous herb. And it will drive away your ailments before you can say a word! The hot drink will also bring you many additional benefits. It works against insomnia, purifies the blood and has antidepressant effects.
You already know the preparation well – pour over with hot water, let it sit, strain. It should be added that St. John’s wort is not suitable for long-term consumption. At most one month and then skip it for a while. But that applies to many kinds of herbs anyway.

Valerian not only benefits the gallbladder but also the heart. Since you are treating yourself, why not take a broader approach, right?
