We are in a difficult time when the dangerous coronavirus is spreading everywhere around us. Governments of countries are making various safety measures and restrictions, but even so the virus picks its victims. There is a wide list of symptoms by which you can find out whether the virus has infected you. Many people do not deal with it and try to ride it out at home themselves. It is known that the coronavirus has similar symptoms and course as classic influenza, for which often the miraculous pink pill Ibalgin and a heap of sleep and rest are enough. For this reason people take it even in the case of coronavirus.
However, Ibalgin does not work on this infection; on the contrary, it makes it worse.
It is much better to take Paralen, but it is currently unavailable.
Empty pharmacies
Before the coronavirus infection reached the Czech Republic, pharmacies experienced a real rush of customers. People were afraid, and therefore stormed the pharmacies and bought out almost all pain and fever medicines, among which of course are Ibalgin and Paralen. There was not much left in the pharmacies, because people made really large stocks intending to use these medicines in case of potential infection.
Ibalgin makes the condition worse
They did not realize, however, that such Ibalgin does not work on the coronavirus. Studies have revealed that not all medicines for the flu or infection necessarily work effectively against the coronavirus. And precisely the pink drug Ibalgin, which is known as a universal painkiller, does not work on the new type of virus. It can even significantly worsen the course of the disease. According to the World Health Organization, it is much better for fever to get paracetamol into the body, which is contained in the medicine called Paralen.
Paracetamol works, but isn’t
The inappropriate use of Ibalgin is shown by the case of little four-year-old Amelie, who developed a high fever and a severe cough.
Her parents gave her the pink pill and their daughter’s condition worsened significantly. For that reason the use of this medicine on the new type of virus is strongly not recommended. It is therefore better to take paracetamol in Paralen, but there is currently a shortage of it. Statistics state that within one week the monthly supplies of this medicine were sold, which is about 300 thousand packages. Even so, people should be responsible and should not overdo it with dosing.
