Summer is just around the corner, so many of you are surely trying to use the last days to work on your figure. However, it is possible that your training plan includes exercises that will delay your progress toward the ideal body rather than bring you closer to it.

If you go to the gym, you may often be inspired during workouts by watching men wrestling with weights.

However, that doesn’t always bear fruit — for some exercises it isn’t true that what helps men build the perfect body will also help women.

In certain areas where men want to be bulkier and more muscular, we women, on the contrary, want to be slimmer and more toned.

And the following five exercises, which Czech trainer Valerie Persin highlights in her video, will — with regular training — widen our graceful curves rather than slim them. Watch out for that!
