Wearing a protective element in public became mandatory as of March 25 . However, the order has left many confused, especially drivers, who turned to members of the police force on social media about the fundamental matter.
The men of the law decided to clarify the constantly debated topic of wearing a face mask in a passenger or cargo vehicle. Many drivers still do not have clarity on this matter. The Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic, in cooperation with the Government of the Czech Republic, did introduce strict measures, but they are affected by various circumstances.
It is precisely these that the police themselves point out as follows:
- If you can be infected by a fellow passenger, it is advisable to wear a mask
- If the car is not used by the driver alone, but by several people, it is also appropriate to wear a mask to protect health
- If the driver uses the car alone and only he drives in it, it is not necessary to wear a mask. However, when exiting the vehicle it is necessary to put one on
