Wearing a protective element in public became mandatory from March 25 . However, the order has left drivers particularly confused, who turned to members of the police force on social media about the fundamental issue.
The men of the law decided to clarify the repeatedly discussed topic, which is the wearing of a mask in a passenger or commercial vehicle. Many drivers still do not have clarity on this matter. The Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic, in cooperation with the Government of the Czech Republic, did introduce strict measures, but they are affected by various circumstances.
The police themselves point these out as follows:
- If you can become infected by a fellow passenger, it is advisable to wear a mask
- If the driver does not use the car alone but with several people, it is also advisable to wear a mask to protect health
- If the driver uses the car alone and only he travels in it, it is not necessary to wear a mask. However, when exiting the vehicle it is necessary to put it on
