Did you know that garlic contains phytocidal, i.e. antimicrobial substances that help prevent the occurrence and spread of dangerous pests and diseases on the leaves?
Moreover, garlic esters remove insects that are harmful to the fruits and protect plants from molds. Garlic falls into the category of natural insecticides, which are especially effective at destroying insects, mites and ants.
The garlic spray is also used to boost plant immunity.
We need:
- 3 medium-sized cloves of garlic
- 0.5 l of water
Instructions:
1. Press the garlic or chop it into small pieces.
2. Add it to the water and place the container in a cool place, preferably in the refrigerator for about 2-3 days.
3. Pour the strained solution into a sprayer and spray the seedlings’ leaves.
The garlic spray is used to prevent diseases such as rot, leaf spots and fungal infections.
