Choosing the right day and night cream is a fairly challenging task. Of all the care products you must choose the one that suits your skin type and the one that will meet your expectations regarding the final effect.

We recommend that you try preparing one of these homemade creams. Very soon you will find that they are better than store-bought creams and you don’t have to wait weeks for the effect.

Recipes for homemade creams

With these homemade products you don’t pay for pretty packaging, nor for the fact that the cream will last for years (preservatives and chemicals to ensure shelf life are among the most expensive items in store-bought creams).

Milk and Aloe

With an aloe vera milk cream you can significantly lighten dark circles under the eyes. The juice of this plant resembles a transparent gel and has a strong moisturizing effect. Aloe is easily absorbed through the skin and does not clog pores.

The amino acids contained in milk support the shedding of dead skin cells . This night cream can also be used on the eyelids.

You will need:

  • aloe juice or gel – 2 tablespoons
  • olive oil (extra virgin) – 1 tablespoon
  • dried milk – 2 tablespoons

These ingredients will be enough for one small container. Remember to keep the cream in the refrigerator. The cream is most effective when fresh.

Miracle cream for smoothing wrinkles – works like expensive smoothing treatments and lasts for a whole month

You will be surprised by the effect, which will be almost immediate.

We need:

  • 1 teaspoon gelatin
  • 100 ml cold water
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 0.5 cup glycerin
  • 1 g (on the tip of a knife) salicylic acid

Preparation:

1. Mix all the ingredients
2. Put the mixture into a water bath and stir until the mass becomes homogeneous.
3. Remove the container with the mixture from the water and cool it while constantly whipping to obtain a gel cream.

How to use?

1. Apply the finished cream to the skin every day 2 hours before bedtime for 20 minutes.
2. Remove the remaining cream that was not absorbed into the skin with a damp cloth.
3. Then apply your usual moisturizing cream.

The resulting cream is enough for 1 month of use. Store the cream in the refrigerator.

When using, use only as much cream as needed for one application, let it warm slightly and apply to the skin. The cream will last the whole month.

Orange and yogurt

If this were a drugstore cream, it would be labeled as a 25+ category cream. It is recommended that women use this natural mixture for regular care.

This cream is also a simple and effective tool to fight wrinkles. It handles the first signs of aging especially well.

You will need:

orange peel (ideally from an organic orange, or washed under boiling water)
turmeric – 1 tablespoon
lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
natural yogurt – 100 g

Attention! Because the product contains citric acid, it is not recommended to leave it on overnight. If you do not want to apply the cream before bed, prepare it according to the same recipe but without lemon juice.

Use only natural yogurt.

Avocado and egg

It keeps the skin youthful, elastic and nourished. It is suitable as a day cream as well, tightens pores and deeply nourishes the skin.

You will need:

egg – 1 pc
avocado – 0.5 pc.

Mash the avocado into a paste and mix with the beaten egg. This cream perfectly tightens pores and also protects against UV radiation.

Honey and coconut oil

Coconut oil is a universal product. There is no gentler and more beneficial oil for the skin. It softens the skin, fights breakouts, and has antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

You will need:

honey – 3 tablespoons
coconut oil – 100 g

Mix both ingredients and store in a jar in a cool place. If you massage it into the skin in circular motions, this cream can also be considered a gentle scrub, but it will not dry out the skin.

Basically these homemade creams can be used at any time of the day; due to their natural nature they have a slow penetrating effect. To achieve the desired effect, you must leave these products on for several hours or even overnight.
