Dandelion cream (recipe no. 2):
- 1 tablespoon of dried dandelion blossoms
- 100 ml of coconut oil
- 8 drops of lavender essential oil
Instructions:
Heat the coconut oil in a water bath.
Heat on a low flame. When the oil is completely melted, add the dandelion flowers and heat the mixture for an hour. Replenish water in the pan as needed (if it has evaporated); it must be hot, so it’s ideal to refill it from a kettle ..
After an hour, turn off the heat and let the mixture sit in the warm water for 15 minutes.
Then strain the mixture through a sieve and add the lavender essential oil. Blend the mixture in a blender or by hand to a creamy consistency. Store the finished product in the refrigerator in a glass container with a lid. The shelf life is a maximum of 2 months. Before use, test the effect of the cream on the wrist to ensure that you do not have an allergic reaction to these ingredients.
