This simple tip saved my dying peace lily, which I was almost ready to give up on. If you also have a similarly dying little plant, try this.
Rescue for dying plants
If your green plants are wasting away before your eyes, or you haven’t cared for them for a long time and they are now in a sorry state, simply pour this healing balm into the flowerpot.
Procedure:
In 1 liter of water dilute 15-20 ml of hydrogen peroxide (3%), which is commonly sold at the pharmacy.
That’s it – the healing miracle for your plants is ready.
Before use it is good to loosen the soil a bit around the plant; this will enrich the roots with the necessary oxygen and the mixture will start working faster.
Then just care for the plant as usual and don’t forget to remove dry and damaged leaves. It worked quickly for me — literally within a few days the peace lily was in better condition than when we bought it.
Of course I pinched off the dry parts; that could no longer be helped. Soon new stems and leaves began to appear.
