Most of the adult population spends a lot of time sitting. We sit at work, in the car, at home in front of the TV, and this affects spinal problems. The back muscles weaken and become stiff.

Pain appears in the sacral area, the shoulder area, and also the lower back.

However, there is one exercise that can handle the whole range of health issues of this kind. If you do it every day, preferably before bed, you will soon feel better and the pain will subside.

This exercise is also recommended for athletes and for those who, on the contrary, spend long hours on their feet. If this position is uncomfortable for you and you feel tension in the sacral area, try doing this exercise with a mat.

 

Instructions on how to perform this exercise correctly:

Kneel on your knees and slowly sit down on the floor so that your feet are not under your buttocks, but at the sides. From the sitting position, slowly lie back on an exhale, using your elbows for support. Then spread your arms on the floor and sweep them in an arc over your head. Open your shoulder blades as you do this. When you place the crown of your head on the floor, your back will be nicely stretched. Expand your chest and feel all the stretched muscles.

Breathe regularly. Give your legs time to get used to this position. Besides being excellent for the back muscles and neck muscles, this exercise also effectively works the thigh muscles, abdominal muscles, and chest.
