If you notice spots on the surface of cucumber leaves, check the underside and find the cause – aphids! If you do nothing about it, the plants will be destroyed.
To prevent this, you must remove aphids from the crops in time.
We need:
- 10 l of water
- 5 tbsp baking soda
- 5 tbsp laundry or liquid soap
- 5 tbsp oil
Instructions:
1. Add the baking soda to the watering can with water and mix well.
2. Add the soap and mix again.
3. Finally add the oil and mix once more until all the ingredients are well combined. The oil will coat the aphids and the insects will not be able to move.
4. Pour the resulting solution into a sprayer, shake it, and spray the underside of the cucumber leaves.
TIP: Cut off very heavily infested leaves and burn them.
Try this method and you will get rid of aphids forever!
